I’ve always considered myself to be a healthy eater and a pretty active person but when I started tracking my food in My Fitness Pal, I realized that I wasn’t always making the healthiest choices. I noticed that I was consuming way too much sugar and too many carbs. I also realized that I wasn’t eating enough protein.

My goal this year is to not only eat healthy, but take better care of myself. Not only am I eating healthy by tracking my food intake, but I’ve also started to work out on a regular basis.
Sometimes it’s really hard to get motivated but, luckily, I have a great support system. I have 3 friends who just had babies and we meet up everyday to work out together. It is so nice to have friends to workout with. This also helps me from being a total slacker because there are plenty of days where I would not workout if it wasn’t for them.
So today I thought it would be fun to share five 5 minute workouts. We usually workout for 30 minutes. Sometimes we do the Jilliam Michael’s 30 Day Shred and sometimes we just do different circuits of our own exercises. Here are a few of our favorites.
