Tips for planning a Halloween minute to win it game night

Plan to Play 8-10 Games – You might think that you’ll need more games to pass the time since each game only lasts a minute but there will be time in between each game to clean up, set up and score each game.

How to Keep Score –   I’ve created a Halloween Scorecard with this fun printable game pack to help you keep score. We like to give points to the top three players. The first place winner scores 5 points. The second place winner earns 3 points and third place winner earns 1 point. You can also just give the winner one point. Halloween Minute to Win it Games

Candy Corn Hop

In this fun Minute to Win it Game, players can only use a straw to transfer as many candy corn as they can from one plate to the other.  The player to transfer the most candy corn in a minute wins.

Bag of Treats

This game sounds easier than it is. Before setting the time, place a pile of wrapped candy in the center of the table. Once the timer starts, players must unwrap the candy wearing oven mitts.  The player to unwrap the most candy in a minute wins.

Flying Ghosts

First, blow up ghost balloons or draw ghost faces on white balloons. Each player must keep a balloon afloat for one minute using only their head and feet. The player that keeps their balloon in the air the longest wins. To make this game easier for younger kids, allow them to use their hands or just one hand.

Tower of Terror

Tower of Terror is an easy no-prep game. In this fun game, players must stack as many candy pumpkins as possible. If their tower collapses, they must start over. The player to build the tallest tower in a minute wins.

Eyeball Catapult

To set this game up, place cups at one end of the table and have players stand at the other end.  Give each player a spoon and have them use their spoon to catapult eyeballs into the cups. The player to have the most eyeballs in their cup in a minute wins. To make this easier for younger kids, have them toss the balls into the cup instead of using a spoon.

SPIDER RACE

This is another game that sounds easier than it is.  Plus, you’ll have to play without laughing which is definitely harder than it sounds.  To set up, create a starting line and finish line.  Place a plastic spider at the starting line for each player.  Then, have every player use only a straw to blow their spider as quickly as they can to the finish line.  The first player to get their spider to cross the finish line wins.

Zombie Attach

Now it’s time to get messy!  To set this game up, you’ll need a plate for each player. Add whipped cream to the plates and hide several gummy body parts in the whipped cream. Set the timer and see who can find the most body parts in a minute using only their mouths.

Witch Pitch

Grab those witch hats because it’s time to play Witch Pitch.  To set this game up, place witch hats a few feet away from each player and create a throwing line.  Give each player a handful of glow bracelets and see who can toss the most bracelets on the witch’s hat in a minute.  To make this easier for younger kids, place the hats closer to them or give them glow necklaces.

VAMPIRE BITE

To set this game up, place two bowls in front of each player.  Add a handful of marshmallows to one bowl and give each player vampire teeth to put in their mouths. Players will use only their mouths while wearing the vampire teeth to transfer the marshmallows from one plate to another. The player to transfer the most marshmallows in a minute wins.

CATCHING SPIDERS

Set-up for this game is easy. All you need to do is place the plastic spider rings around the table and give each player a straw. Once the timer starts, players will place the straw in their mouth and begin to pick up the spider rings one at a time with only the straw. The player to collect the most spiders on their straw in a minute wins.
