Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s officially time to start sharing Christmas craft projects. And, let me tell you – I have plenty of them and I can’t wait to share them. We have 4 weeks until Christmas and I have about 50 fun Christmas crafts that I want to share. I hope I have enough time:)
We’re going to start with these adorable Santa Camera Ornaments and Elf Surveillance Ornaments. I first saw these last year and as soon as I got my Cricut I knew I had to make them. I’m also participating in a fun Cricut Ornament Exchange so I knew I had to make these for my ornament partner too.
Aren’t they adorable? I’m making them for everyone I know. We have two Christmas trees so now we have two ornaments keeping an eye on the boys to make sure they’re behaving. You can make an Elf ornament, Santa ornament, or both.
- Plastic Disc Ornaments
- Glitter-It Adhesive
- Free SVG Cut Files
- Black, green, and red vinyl
- Vinyl Transfer Tape
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Cricut Cutting Mat
- Acrylic Craft Jewels
- Glue gun and Glue Sticks
- Add a few drops of Glitter-It Adhesive to the ornaments. Swirl it around until the inside of the ornament is coated. Pour extra adhesive out.
- Add about a tablespoon of glitter to the inside of the ornament. Shake it around until the ornament is evenly coated with glitter. Add more glitter if you need to. Let dry.
- Use your Cricut to cut out the vinyl. Carefully place vinyl on ornament.
- Add jewels and ribbon.
Oh my goodness! How easy was that?! That Glitter-It Adhesive is the easiest way to make glitter ornaments. I highly recommend it.
Remember – Santa is always watching when you have these ornaments on your Christmas tree.
Download the FREE SVG Files and have fun making your own ornaments.
Want one of these ornaments but you don’t want to make one yourself? Well, I’ve got some great news. I’ve added them to my new Etsy shop that I just opened. Check it out HERE.
