Oh my goodness!  Did you know that you can make your own erasers?  I had no idea that there was a thing called Eraser Clay until I stumbled upon it at my local craft store.  Well, I immediately added it to my cart and had to try it out.

Plus, I just so happened to have these adorable unicorn molds sitting in my craft stash waiting to be used so I did what every crafty unicorn would do – I made Unicorn Erasers. This might just be the best unicorn craft ever!

And, you have to admit – they are pretty darn cute.  I will admit that I was a little nervous about this little craft project as I placed them in the oven but they turned out exactly how I imagined they would.  I love that I only needed a few supplies to make these adorable DIY erasers and I’m definitely going to be making lots of unicorn erasers.

Supplies needed to make Unicorn Erasers

  • Eraser Clay Kit
  • Unicorn Molds
  • Oven

Step  1:  Cut two small pieces of clay off and swirl them together.

Step 2:  Add clay to unicorn mold and bake according to the package directions.

That’s it!  Erasable clay is AWESOME.  And, of course, you don’t have to make unicorns.  You can create your own shapes and use different molds to make your own fabulous erasers. I especially like the marble look of these erasers and that’s so easy to do with clay.

I’m also happy to report that they actually do erase pencil writing:)
