Celebrate the holidays with this delicious Honey Lime Christmas Fruit Salad recipe.  A festive fruit salad full of red and green fruit topped with honey-lime dressing.  All I can say is YUM!

Growing up my mom always made a fruit salad on Christmas morning and it’s definitely a tradition I want to continue.  I feel like we all need something healthy to eat with all the holiday treats we’ve been snacking on since Thanksgiving and what’s better than a festive fruit salad?!

This Honey Lime Christmas Fruit Salad is perfect for Christmas morning and it’s also a great side dish to serve with Christmas dinner.  I also think it’s a great recipe to make for all those holiday potlucks you’re invited to.  It’s pretty much the perfect holiday recipe for every occasion.  It’s festive, easy to make, and requires no baking which means this really is the perfect Christmas dish to make.

Ingredients to Make Christmas Fruit Salad

I love that this fruit salad is full of only green and red fruits.  Of course, you can add all your favorite fruit but since it’s Christmas I think it’s fun to stick to only red and green fruit.

  • Red Fruit – We used red apples, strawberries and raspberries.
  • Green Fruit – We used kiwi, green grapes, and green apples.
  • Pomegranate arils – These are the seeds inside pomegranates and add a festive look to the salad.
  • Honey – Adds sweetness to the dressing
  • Lime juice – the perfect addition to the dressing and fruit salad

If you’re having trouble finding any of the fruit that I used, don’t stress. Any red and green fruit will look and taste great in this recipe.

How to Make a Delicious Christmas Fruit Salad

You can’t mess this recipe up. That’s what makes it so great.  I like to use three red fruits and three green fruits.  You can easily make it with two of each color or whatever you can find at your local grocery store.  Just keep it easy.  This is meant to be an easy holiday recipe.  Once you gather your fruit, cut and add to a large bowl.

And, now it’s time to make the best part – the honey lime dressing.  This is what makes this salad even more delicious.  You can serve this dish without the dressing but it adds lots of flavor to the salad so I highly recommend it.  Whisk together honey and lime juice in a small bowl and pour over fruit.  Stir with a large spoon to evenly coat fruit and your salad is ready.

How easy was that?  Another easy and delicious recipe that your entire family will love!
