Do you decorate for the 4th of July?

I’ve always loved the 4th of July and since Connor’s birthday is the 3rd of July, I’ve been more into decorating for the 4th since he was born.  His favorite colors are red, white, and blue because of his birthday and because him and his dad love the NY Giants.

4th of July Centerpiece

Today I’m sharing an easy 4th of July Centerpiece idea.  I actually made this a few weeks ago when we had a Welcome Home party for my hubby.  I made 10 of these for each of the tables and they were super easy to put together and I got everything from The Dollar Store.

So, not only are they easy but they are cheap too.  My kind of party decorating!!

Start by gathering your supplies.  All you need is red, white, and blue basket shred, mason jars, small American flags and patriotic pinwheels.

First, fill each mason jar with the basket shred in layers of red, white, and blue.  I guess it’s more silver than white but I love the metallic look.

Then add flags and pinwheels to each mason jar.  I added two pinwheels and 3 flags to each jar.  I also had to cut the pinwheel sticks down a little so they wouldn’t be so tall.

And that’s it!

Now you have some cute and fun patriotic centerpieces to add to your 4th of July celebration.
