Happy Holidays! It’s time to put the stress of the holiday season behind us and have a little fun! I’ve rounded up awesome holiday games that will leave everyone laughing and you’ll have fabulous memories with all your favorite people.
First, I found lots of fun Holiday Minute to Win it games that I just had to share with you. I created game cards that you can print out and use for your game night.
Materials needed: fake wreath(s), large marshmallows, large bowl(s)
Directions: Players stand behind a designated line and have one minute to toss snowballs (marshmallows) through a Christmas wreath and into a bowl. Player with the most snowballs in the bowl at the end of a minute is the winner.
Jingle in the Trunk
Materials needed: empty tissue boxes, jingle bells, ribbon and glue
Directions: Take an empty tissue box and fill it with 12 jingle bells. Glue ribbon to the back of the box and tie box around player’s lower back. Then, shake, jump and move around in order to get all the bells out of the box in one minute.
Candy Cane Pick Up
Materials needed: candy canes, baskets
Directions: Place a pile of candy canes on a table and provide a basket for each player. Give each player a candy cane to put in their mouth with the hook end down. The player must use the candy cane hook to pick up the other candy canes and move them to the basket. The player with the most candy canes in their basket after one minute wins.
Gingerbread High Rise
Materials needed: graham crackers, icing, paper plates
Directions: Provide graham crackers, icing, and a paper plate for each player. Players have one minute to build a tower using the graham crackers and icing. The player with the tallest tower after one minute wins.
Materials needed: white ping pong balls, plastic cups or buckets
Directions: Set up buckets or cups at a chosen distance in from of each player. Bounce as many snowballs (white ping pong balls) into the cup as you can in a minute. Balls must bounce on the table before going into the basket or cup.
Materials needed: mini marshmallows
Directions: See how many snowmen you can make by stacking three mini marshmallows. Player with the most snowmen in one minute is the winner.
Materials needed: ornaments, wrapped shirt box, tape
Directions: First, create a starting line with tape. Then, a few feet away, tape off a square for the goal mark. Each player must use a gift wrapped shirt box to move an ornament (without touching it) from the starting line to the goal.
Materials needed: ornaments, baskets
Directions: One player must pass ornaments under their legs like they’re hiking a football and have a teammate catch them in a basket that is tied to their back. Team to catch the most ornaments in a minute wins.
MORE HOLIDAY GAMES
I also found other awesome Christmas games that you can play with your family and friends this holiday season. I can’t wait to try the saran wrap game and Connor is already loving the Christmas Would You Rather Game. I printed that out to play during our car ride to Maryland.
Oh my goodness! So many fun games to play this holiday season. I can’t wait to print these games out and play them with our family and friends.
Now, which one should we play first?
