I love fruit salads!  They’re easy to make and the perfect side dish for weeknight meals, parties, holiday dinners and more.  And, this Autumn Fruit Salad is the perfect side dish will become your new favorite fall recipes.  It’s crunchy, creamy and so easy to make. This fruit salad could even work as a healthy dessert.

How to Make Autumn Fruit Salad

This recipe is super simple and takes less than 15 minutes to toss together.  The hardest part is cutting the fruit:)

Fruit – This fruit salad calls for apples, pears, and red grapes.  Dice up the apples and pears and halve the grapes in a large bowl.

Yogurt Dressing – For the dressing, all you need is vanilla Greek yogurt, cinnamon and little nutmeg. Mix these 3 ingredients in a small bowl until well combined. Then, just pour yogurt dressing over fruit and mix until fruit is evenly coated.

Toppings – Top this delicious fruit salad with pecans and dried cranberries.  This is optional but I love the extra crunch the pecans add and I just feel all fall recipes should include craisins.

Yogurt Fruit Salad Tips

  • Feel free to use whatever fruit you please. I used gala apples but feel free to use your favorite type of apples or whatever you have on hand.  I don’t think that will change the flavor.  Also, make sure you use seedless grapes.
  • You don’t have to use Greek yogurt.  You can use vanilla yogurt or plain yogurt and sweeten it with honey and vanilla.
  • If you want to make this ahead of time, cut the fruit and toss in a little lemon juice.  Make the dressing but wait to add the dressing and toppings until just before serving.
