Berry rose sangria with brandy, fresh fruit and Rose wine.

Sangria is definitely one of my favorite drinks to sip on and I’ve shared a few different sangria recipes but today’s Berry Rosé Sangria recipe just might be my favorite.  Not only does this sangria recipe call for Rosé wine but it’s pink; which happens to be my favorite color.  And what’s better than a delicious glass of rose sangria with brandy?  A delicious blackberry brandy sangria!  Even my husband loved this recipe and he is not a fan of fruity drinks.

How to Make Berry Rosé Sangria

Start with your favorite bottle of Rosé and add the entire bottle to a large pitcher.  Then, mix in the blackberry brandy and honey.  Finish it off with lots of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

That’s it!  How easy was that?  Now, refrigerate for a few hours to let the fruit seep into the wine.

Tips for making a Mixed Berry Sangria Recipe

  • Sangria needs at least two kinds of fruit in it and there are so many options.  Have fun mixing different fruit to make different sangria recipes.
  • Make sure you chill sangria before serving.  This is the most important step!  Pour the wine, booze, and chopped fruit into a pitcher and give everything a good stir. Then place in refrigerator and don’t touch it for at least four hours.  You cannot skip this step if you want a great tasting sangria.
  • Add the bubbly.  Not all sangria needs to be carbonated but it does make it better.  Add seltzer water to the pitcher of sangria right before serving.
  • I highly recommend making sangria with frozen fruit.  Instead of serving with, add frozen fruit to the wine glass before pouring. Nobody wants watered down sangria.

Now, it’s time to relax with a delicious glass of Berry Rose Sangria and enjoy the weekend!

  1. Kara this looks delicious! I have never tried blackberry brandy. The secret to my sangria is I soak the fruit in peach schnapps for a few hours then add the wine! You can’t go wrong with a good sangria!
