I wanted something for the boy’s bathroom.  The walls are grey and the show curtain is white with yellow and blue stripes. I was going to make a printable but I was worried that the steam and moisture would ruin it so I figured a felt wall banner was the perfect solution.  Do you know what’s great about using felt?  No sewing is required.  Which means it’s an easy, no-sew project.

Now, that’s what I’m talking about!  I was also able to use my favorite crafting tool – my Cricut!  Woohoo!!  I love my Cricut but I’m sure you all know that by now.

And, guess what?  It costs less than $5 to make.  The felt was $1 and wooden dowel was only. .59 cents.  I already had the white iron-on vinyl, rope, and glue gun but you won’t use a lot so it’s still an inexpensive project.  You can also use felt letters and any quote you want if you don’t have a vinyl cutter.

Materials needed to make an Easy No Sew Felt Wall Banner:

    • 12 x 18 felt sheet
    • Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
    • Ruler
    • Wooden Dowel
    • Hand Saw
    • Iron-on Vinyl
    • Cricut Explore Air 2 (or any vinyl cutting machine)
    • Iron and Ironing Board
    • FREE SVG Cut File (optional)
    • Jute Rope

Directions:

Step 1: Fold 2 inches of the felt over and glue edges down using the glue gun.  Make sure to leave enough space to slide the wooden dowel through the hole.

Step 2: Cut the other end of the felt into a point using the ruler to make sure the edges are straight.
