Cheddar Bacon Dip – an easy appetizer that tastes great with beer bread.

Football season has officially begun and that means friends are always hanging out at our house on the weekends to watch college football. I’m all about making quick and easy appetizers that we can snack on all day. I especially love slow cooker recipes so I’m not stuck in the kitchen while everyone is hanging out in the living room.

Today I’m sharing two recipes that are perfect for homegating.  But first I need to give a huge shoutout to Kroger.  I just recently started shopping there and I’m amazed at the huge selection they have.  I could spend hours walking around Kroger and I do not recommend grocery shopping hungry.  I keep making that mistake!  I headed to Kroger over the weekend to stock up on all the ingredients I needed to make these delicious appetizers for game day.

Now for the good stuff – You all know my idea of a great recipe is one that requires 5 ingredients and can be made in about 3- 4 steps so I’ve found two that do just that.

This Cheddar Bacon Dip is so easy to make.  Just dump everything in the slow cooker and you’ve got yourself a super easy and great tasting appetizer.

You can’t go wrong with this recipe!

Can it get any easier than this?!

And I love to serve my Cheddar Bacon Dip with beer bread.  This time I decided to make it with Dr Pepper® and I might never make it with beer again.  The Dr Pepper® made the bread a little sweet which tasted great with the dip.
