Cherry Coke Slush Recipe {Effortless Meals at Walmart}

The heat and humidity doesn’t seem to be letting up anytime soon so we’ve been spending our days lounging at the pool. It’s really the only way to stay cool when it’s this hot outside.
And to make our trips to the pool even easier, I like to pick up a Marketside rotisserie chicken every Sunday so I can make sandwiches quickly throughout the week.  Walmart makes it so so easy to pick them up right in the front of the store and you can’t ever go wrong with a rotisserie chicken when looking for an effortless meal! Chicken paired with lettuce and tomato on a Hawaiian roll makes the perfect lunch. I can whip up a few sandwiches in no time and throw them in the pool bag. This is my kind of cooking.
I also make Connor and I a special treat to take along to the pool – Cherry Coke Slushes. They taste so good when it’s hot outside and there is nothing better than lounging by the pool with an ice cold drink in your hand. And again, they are super easy to make.
Cherry Coke Slush Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 cups of Coke
- 1 jar of maraschino cherries - 1/4 cup juice and cherries
- 2 cups of ice
Instructions
- - Add Coke, ice and juice from jar to blender. Blend until mixed. Add more coke if it's too icy for you.
- - Add to cup and garnish with a cherry.
- - Enjoy!
So simple and delicious!
