Yesterday was Connor’s first day of Kindergarten and I’m pretty sure I was way more nervous than he was!! He got right on the bus and didn’t even look back. I can’t believe how fast he is growing up!
So of course I had to make a little gift for Connor’s teacher. Last week the school had a Meet & Greet where we got to meet his teacher, tour the school, and see his classroom. His favorite part about the classroom is the SMART board they have.
This is a pretty simple gift to put together. I placed M&M’s, some fun gel pens, wet wipes and a pack of gum inside a pencil box.
Then I created this fun printable and made it into a personalized magnet. Just personalize with the teacher’s name (I used Picmonkey) and print. I printed out the 4 x 6 version on a shipping label and stuck it to an old magnet I had. Cut around the image and attached to the pencil box with string.
Now Connor’s teacher can put it on her front board, her filing cabinet or her desk and remember how important her job as a teacher is.
You can also just personalize it, print it out and put it in a nice frame. Teachers aren’t picky. We just like to feel appreciated:)
And stay tuned for another fun teacher gift. I liked it so much, I had to make one for myself.
