Nothing but the best for our pets, right?!
My husband is a little obsessed with buying our dog, Rocky, toys every time he goes to the store. I’m not sure that Rocky needs all the toys that he has but he desperately needed a small bin to store them in. They were currently hidden in a corner behind the sofa but now that I have my awesome new Cricut, I decided it would be fun to make him his own personalized dog toy bin. I was originally going to buy a wooden crate and just use vinyl stickers but then I found this awesome wire bin on clearance that was the perfect size.
I used black iron-on vinyl to add Rocky’s name to the fabric liner of the bin and I LOVE the way it turned out. I actually think we all need our very own personalized bins to store things in. I better just go warn my family now because everything in our house is going to be personalized pretty soon.
Want to make one for your pup? All you need is a wire basket with a fabric liner and iron-on letters. You can use a vinyl cutter to create your letters or pick them up at your local craft store. They have lots of sizes and colors available. Then simply iron on your letters. This is where I step back and admire my crafty work.
Isn’t it cute? I love how easy this little DIY project is and Rocky now has his own little toy bin.
And speaking of Rocky, I tried to get a picture of him playing with his toys in front of his new toy bin but he was too busy sleeping.
But, I do know exactly how to wake him up. All I have to do is fill his bowl with dog food and he’ll come strolling into the kitchen. His ear’s immediately perk up as soon as he hears the food hit his bowl. And, I have to tell you – he is loving the Purina Beyond® Superfood Blend Salmon, Egg & Pumpkin Recipe Natural Dog Food that I picked up at Target. Hubby spoils him with dog toys and I make sure to only buy him dog food that has real meat, poultry or fish listed as the #1 ingredient. It also has no corn, wheat or soy, no poultry by-product meal and no added artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. This means one thing – we have one happy pup in our house!
There’s more! Target has lots of AWESOME Cartwheel deals going on this month – 20% off Dog Chow (all sizes) – 3/5 – 3/11, 20% off Beyond Dry (all sizes) – 3/12 – 3/18, and 20% off ONE dry (all sizes) – 3/19 – 3/25 – making it the perfect time to stock up on your pup’s favorite food.
