2 Ingredient Cleaning Tips and Tricks

Woohoo!  It’s Friday.  We have a busy weekend planned but I really need to get some fall cleaning done.  Connor’s back in school and I have a few projects that I’m working on.  I should be steam cleaning my carpets, organizing our closets and painting my trim.  But, instead, I’ve been painting furniture and working on some DIY picture frames.  I’m just determined to make a bigger mess and add more clutter to the garage.

I did spend some time looking up 2 ingredient cleaning recipes that I could start using on a regular basis.  One of those tricks does include a DIY Carpet Cleaner so that means I’m halfway done cleaning the carpets.  I figure if I’m researching cleaning tricks, them I’m kind of cleaning – right?!  Either way, I’ve discovered some awesome cleaning tricks that require only 2 ingredients and I bet you already have most of these ingredients in your home.

Dawn Dish Soap + White Vinegar = Shower Cleaner

 

White Vinegar + Hydrogen Peroxide = 2 Ingredient Carpet Cleaner

Olive Oil + Lemon Juice = Furniture Polish

1 Gallon Water + 1 Cup Vinegar = Wood Floor Cleaner

Vegetable Oil + Baking Soda = Kitchen Cabinet Cleaner

Dawn Dish Soap + Baking Soda = Homemade Dishwasher Detergent

Baking Soda + Vinegar = Homemade Drain Cleaner

Epson Salt + Essential Oil = Homemade Laundry Scent Booster

Your Favorite Fabric Softener + Sponges = Homemade Dryer Sheets

Isopropyl Alcohol + Distilled Water = Home Electronics Cleaner

Oh gosh, now I’m in the mood to clean.  I’m so excited to make those homemade dryer sheets and I need to clean my computer right away.
