I wish you all could come over to my house right now just so you could see how wonderful this Holiday Slow Cooker Potpourri smells.  The smell of cinnamon and citrus is the perfect combination for this time of year.  And, the best part is – it was super easy to throw together and it doesn’t cost a lot of money.

Simmering Holiday Slow Cooker Potpourri

Just add all the ingredients in a small slow cooker and your house will smell amazing.  I have a 2 quart slow cooker that I love!  It’s the perfect size for dips and now this.

I prefer to use the slow cooker over the stove because we have a gas stove.  The slow cooker just seems safer to me especially if I’m upstairs doing laundry.  I can just turn the slow cooker on low and let this recipe simmer all day long.  I can even leave the house and run errands while this simmers away.

  1. The unit looks great and just what I need. My favorite cleaning tip for anytime of the year, is to use a slightly damp cloth to dust with. If the cloth is not damp, dust will go in the air and everywhere, which defeats the purpose of dusting, such a waste of time and effort. You can dust your kick-knacks, ceiling fans this way, as well. Thanks for the chance! jslbrown2009 at aol dot com
