Cake for One Valentine's Day Gift

Today I’m sharing another fun gift idea for Valentine’s Day.  This might just be my favorite one yet.

I have a few friends whose husband’s are also deployed and since it’s a little depressing to be home alone on Valentine’s Day when your hubby is gone, we decided we would be each other’s V Day date.

So of course I decided I had to give them a little gift.  I love all the cake in a mug recipes that I keep seeing on Pinterest so I put these little gifts together.  You can never go wrong with chocolate!

First, make the cake mix:

You will need 1 box of chocolate cake mix, 1 1/3 cups angel food cake mix, 1 box of vanilla pudding mix, 1 bag of chocolate chips.  Mix everything together in a bowl.

Next, divide the mix up into different ziplock bags.  I put 2 cups of mix in each bag and was able to make 3 bags of mix.

I found these cute heart bowls at TJ Maxx for $2.99.  I made the labels and stuffed the cake mix in each bowl.  Then I attached the label with double sided tape and they are all ready.  Another quick and easy gift idea.

Now my friends can enjoy a little dessert when ever they are craving something sweet and they will think of me – which always makes me happy:)

These would also taste great with mini Reese’s peanut butter cups.  Now I want something sweet!
