1. This week has been crazy. My husband was supposed to leave this morning for a 9 month deployment but we found out Wednesday that the deployment has been cancelled for now! Woohoo!! Super exciting news for us!
2. So we had to celebrate at our favorite Mexican restaurant.
3. Homemade baked potato soup.
4. It was a great Friday at school today! My students watched the movie "Holes" because we just finished reading the novel and I got to enjoy my Starbucks.
5. I was a guest over at Tatertots and Jello! Check out the project I
shared HERE. I have to add that Jen is AMAZING!! Every time she
emailed me I felt like I was talking to a celebrity.
How was your week?
Wow! You are in Norfolk? That's so crazy! Both of my parents were in the Navy so I grew up in Virginia Beach. My cousin is currently in that area because he's in the Navy too (he was on the Eisenhower). So cool to see a fellow Navy family! And happy that you have more time together :)

What great news that your husband didn't have to leave this week! So excited for you! I have been all about soup lately for dinner too. I think I have made that same exact recipe in the past week, or something very similar. It looks delicious!!

ReplyDeleteThats SOOOO great that your hubby doesn's have to deploy. I just got word that a friend of mine - his deployment was cancelled as well. So thankful! I was thinking of making califlower soup tonight or tomorrow myself. My husband was eeerriee about it, until he tried it and now loves it!
