I'm so excited to introduce you all to my guest today.  Angela linked up to our Mingle With Us blog hop and as soon as I read her blog, I had to have her as a guest.  I just think she is fabulous and I begged her to share some of the latest nail polish trends with us!!  Take it away Angela.
 

Let me start by saying how honored and excited I am that Kara asked me to do a guest post on her amazing blog!!  I was more than happy to accept. 

I just wanna tell you all a little bit about myself.  My name is Angela and I just recently started blogging because I wanted to share my love of beauty with other women like myself.  I'm 28, living in South Jersey and married to a wonderful man.  I have always loved the beauty world from nails, makeup and hair and I have recently enrolled in cosmetology school to get the best knowledge I can!

Today I'm going to feature a few summer nail trends with you and give you some fun manicure ideas that you can do at home instead of paying at a salon and still get a great look!

 The biggest trend I believe in nail polish this summer is going to be NEON, NEON, NEON!! Neon and Neutrals have been huge this Spring and that is definitely going to continue into the Summer. If you throw a neon polish on your nails you won't go wrong!  Check out new summer collections coming out from Essie, China Glaze and OPI for some great neons!!  Or just browse your local drugstore for budget friendly polishes.  The new "Spoiled" collection from Wet N Wild is $1.99 per polish and has some great fun summer colors I found the entire line at CVS! Some other colors that are going to be HUGE this year are tangerines, bright corals, teals, oranges, chartreuse, metallic golds. 

 

An amazing trend that as you can see I have been rocking is color blocking.  I love color blocking EVERYTHING, but especially on my nails!!  It's such a fun way to experiment with different colors and combinations!  

 Something else I am loving for summer is anything mint green and I love adding glitter to just about everything! 

Something that could be fun to do that you could incorporate a bunch of fun neon polishes into is the "gradient" nail - a fun way to spice up your manicure.
