Cool Whip Cookies with Sprinkles

First of all I love rainbow sprinkles!!  Second, I love finding simple recipes that require very few ingredients.
So let's make some Cool Whip Cookies with Rainbow Sprinkles!

Here is all you need:
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 1 - 8 ounce container of cool whip (thawed)
  • 1 egg
  • Rainbow sprinkles
Directions: Combine cake mix, cool whip, and egg in a large mixing bowl and mix until moist (dough is very thick).  Pour about a cup of sprinkles into a bowl.  Roll a spoon full of dough in sprinkles until covered.  Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes.
You can try this recipe with all kinds of different cake mixes.  Next time I might use chocolate cake mix with chocolate sprinkles.

And let me tell you - these cookies are moist and chewy.
Just the way I like them!!

Enjoy!

  9. I made these today and they were DELICIOUS! It's unreal that it only took 3 ingrediants! I had left over pink and white sprinkles from a birthday party so I ended up using a strawberry cake mix instead of yellow. They didn't turn out as colorful and pretty as yours but they were yummy! Can't wait to try different cake mixes.
