There are so many creative ways to upcycle things that we throw away on a daily basis. I thought it would be fun to celebrate Earth Day with a round up of craft projects made from items that would most likely end up in the trash.

Check out these fabulous upcycled craft ideas I found and make sure you link up your upcycled projects at the end.

I love saving coffee cans to use for craft projects. Last summer Connor and I had fun making this bird feeder from a coffee can. Just cut the lid in half and glue one to each side of the coffee can. Then we painted it. Very easy which means it is my kind of project!!
Now it's your turn again. Link up all of your upcycled craft projects. We want to be inspired by you!!

Those are some great ideas! I actually recycled an old oatmeal canister into a toilet paper roll holder for our bathroom, but I haven't written a post about that project yet. It's super useful though because we have a pedestal sink, so no storage underneath...
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the ideas in one place. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm a new follower and love your ideas. Thanks so much for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to try the ribbon organizer from an oatmeal carton. This was a great round up. Thanks so much for sharing at Whimsy Wednesdays at The NY Melrose Family .
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! I'm also saving all sorts of cans - soup, spaghetti, vege, - for a different project, but I love the use of them on the wallboard!
ReplyDeleteThanks for finding these upcycled projects!

Such a great idea! Just about the only crafting I do anymore is upcycling or repurposing. I think it's easier for me because it's not quite a blank canvas!
ReplyDeleteReally great ideas you collected! I love your bird feeder! I got about 5 coffee containers, the bigger ones though, and made of cardboard, that I've collected from work; wondering how I could weather proof it to make this... I've also got a recycling project on my to-do list! I'm converting a really big styrofoam box into.... well you'll just have to wait and see! (Hope that wasn't too much of a tease lol) Hopefully I can remember about this post and link up.
ReplyDeleteThese are great ideas! I wanted to join but couldn't find anything that I upcycled so I'll be thinking... Have a great weekend. Linda
