Tuesday's Tips #5

It's Spring Break and I'm in the mood to do some spring cleaning.  Here are some great cleaning tips I've found recently that I will be doing this week:

The Crafty Gnome shares a great tip for cleaning the microwave.  Heat a bowl of water and vinegar in the microwave for five minutes.  The steam softens the gross stuff so you can easily wipe it clean.
I love this tip for cleaning toilets from Life Hackery:   Add a cup of baking soda to the toilet. Let it soak for an hour before flushing.  It will clean it and absorb the odor.  This is my idea of cleaning!!

Make it Do shares a great way to clean your mattress using baking soda and essential oil.

A Garden for the House recommends using vinegar to get rid of weeds.  I can't wait to try this!

I found this great printable from My 3 Monsters that will help me keep the house clean throughout the week.  I hope I can stick to it:)

Do you have any cleaning tips to share?

  1. I cleaned our microwave this past weekend with that tip from Crafty Gnome, it works great!

And we do something like that weekly chore list to help keep the mess to a minimum in our apartment, but since it's an apartment it's a little smaller. I posted about it on my blog if you want to see :-)
