April Fun!

Once again I've planned different activities that we can do for the month of April.  This month I've decided to switch it up a little.  In the past I've written the activities on notecards and kept them in a box on the side of the refrigerator.

But this month I decided to make fortune cookies using cupcake liners.  I saw these on Martha Stewart's website as a cute baby shower favor but since I'm not planning any baby showers, I decided to make them this month for Connor. 

I started by writing the activities on strips of cardstock and folded them into smaller pieces.

I folded the cupcake liners in half and placed small pieces of double sided tape along the edge of half the liner.

Then, I placed one activity and a few jelly beans inside the cupcake liner and folded it over.  Once it was sealed, I brought the corners together so they bent like an actual fortune cookie.

 

Super easy!  I'm not sure what Connor will like more: the jelly beans or the activity inside:)

Now Connor will have even more fun picking our fun activity for the day!!

Earth Day Activity- Look for pictures that relate to nature and create a collage

Trip to the Library

The cupcake liner fortune cookies were fun to make and I can't wait for Connor to pick his first fortune this week.  I wonder what our first activity will be?
