These are some of the idea's I found that I love:
This idea from How Can I Recycle This? would be perfect in any craft room, playroom, laundry room, etc. I definitely want to do this in my craft closet to keep my scrapbooking stuff organized. I can also use them in Connor's playroom to keep his small toys and art supplies in one place.
I love this flower pot created by AnnDee on Family Crafts. I'm definitety going to plant some flowers this spring in coffee cans. I love the blue.

Real Simple shows how a wine rack can be made using coffee cans.
I was so happy when I came across these luminaries on Maggie Makes. You can use any size can to create them. Now I'm going to be saving all my cans.

Also, Folgers Coffee offers a way for you to create labels for your old coffee canisters so you can reuse them as gifts.

It would be fun to print pictures of what's inside the cans and use that as your labels. Heart of Wisdom offers a few printables that you can use for free.
So start saving your coffee cans and canisters!
